"And the Beat Goes On" es un sencillo de 1979 del grupo estadounidense The Whispers. La canción fue el primero de los dos sencillos número uno en la lista de Soul, y su primer éxito en el Top 20 en el Billboard Hot 100, alcanzando el puesto 19. "And the Beat Goes On" fue el único número uno del grupo en canción en la tabla de baile.
